The College of Humanities at Midocean University organized a scientific symposium on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, titled “Blockchain and HR Management: From Traditional Records to Digital Trust.” The symposium was presented by Dr. Tamara Mohamed, Course Director at the College.
The symposium explored the reasons driving human resources departments to reconsider the way they manage and handle data. It also introduced the concept of digital trust as a new approach to human capital management, highlighting how blockchain technology can be utilized to redesign the employee journey. In addition, the symposium reviewed several practical applications of blockchain within the workplace and the strategic value it can create for organizations, before concluding with a practical roadmap for transitioning toward a digital trust framework.
