Midocean University has announced a notable advancement in its performance in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2026, moving up to the 1001+ band. This achievement reflects the University’s steady institutional growth and its continued commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is among the most prestigious international ranking systems, assessing universities based on their real-world contribution to the SDGs across four core dimensions: teaching, research, community engagement, and institutional governance.
This year, Midocean University participated and recorded a measurable progress across all SDGs, achieving the following results:
• SDG 1 – No Poverty: ranked within the 601–800 band globally
• SDG 4 – Quality Education: ranked within the 801–1000 band globally
• SDG 5 – Gender Equality: ranked within the 801–1000 band globally
• SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals: ranked within the 1001–1500 band globally
These results reflect the University’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality, support community-driven initiatives, embed the principles of equity and inclusion within its institutional culture, and strengthen meaningful partnerships that contribute to sustainable development at both local and international levels.
