Midocean University’s Initiatives During the Holy Month of Ramadan 1447 AH (2026)

Days of Giving Extended from Egypt to Syria and the Comoros During the Holy Month of Ramadan

As part of its social responsibility and commitment to fostering the values of solidarity and humanitarian compassion, Midocean University launched a series of initiatives during the Holy Month of Ramadan (1447 AH / 2026), reaching several Arab and Islamic countries. These initiatives benefited hundreds of families, students, and individuals in need, as follows:

First: Arab Republic of Egypt

27 February – Al Sharqia Governorate:
A large-scale initiative was organized to prepare and distribute Ramadan food parcels to the most vulnerable families, helping provide their essential needs throughout the Holy Month.

14 March – Fayoum Governorate:
The University’s team launched the “Iftar for a Fasting Person” initiative, distributing ready-to-eat meals to patients and their families at a local hospital. The initiative also included the distribution of meals to underprivileged families in the village.

Second: Syria

10 March – Homs:
Iftar meals were distributed to fasting individuals in the streets.

15 March – Nursing Home for the Elderly, Hama:
In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation and compassion for senior citizens, the initiative brought the joy of iftar to the residents, sharing the meal with them and offering comfort and companionship.

Third: Union of the Comoros

A communal iftar was organized for Midocean University students to strengthen the spirit of one family, promote brotherhood among students during the Holy Month, and create an atmosphere of warmth, unity, and mutual affection.

These diverse initiatives reflect Midocean University’s unwavering commitment to its social responsibility and demonstrate that its spirit of giving knows no boundaries. Through its humanitarian and charitable efforts, the University continues to serve as a model of community engagement, delivering support and hope to those in need wherever they may be.
