On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, the College of Media and Marketing hosted the graduation project discussion session for the Master’s in Digital Media program, attended by faculty members. The session featured a diverse range of academic research studies addressing contemporary issues in digital media, corporate communication, digital marketing, and the impact of social media on communities
The discussions included various research topics such as the role of digital media in building communicative leadership, its impact on enhancing credibility and public perception, in addition to field studies examining the role of social media in societal issues and the impact of digital marketing strategies on institutional competitiveness.
The judging committee announced the results of the winning research projects. First place was awarded to researcher Nisrin Abdullah Maryayn for her study titled: The Role of Social Media in Facilitating Access to Drugs Among Youth: A Field Study,
Meanwhile, researcher Banan Hasan Kaya won second place for her study titled: The Impact of Digital Media in Enhancing the Value of Credibility in Arab Communities in Turkey, and third place was awarded to researcher Zakaria Marzouq Albishr for his study titled: The Role of Digital Media in Building Communicative Leadership within Saudi Universities: An Analytical Study of Prominent Leadership Models.
These discussions reflect the College’s commitment to strengthening scientific research, supporting postgraduate program outcomes, and aligning academic programs with contemporary media and communication issues, in a way that contributes to preparing qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with developments in digital media.
